Detractors, I’m sure, are overjoyed that the conclusion has finally arrived. In case you haven’t been watching (and apparently you’re not alone), the series stars Jo De La Rosa and Slade Smiley, who appeared on the first two seasons of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” That series will resume later this year with a couple of new housewives. A long time ago in a county known as Orange and a gated village known as Coto de Caza, Jo and Slade were engaged. They have remained friends, and have agreed to star in an unusual dating show in which Jo’s many suitors must live in Slade’s house as they compete for her affection.
Smiley will grill the guys and give advice to his ex. I could tell by the conversations – they’re not really sure who I am.
Things didn’t stay happy for long for Slade and Jo, who was hoping to launch a singing career, and their relationship quickly fizzled.
Their storyline on the show told the story that Slade wanted Jo to settle down and be a wife and mother, but that Jo had big dreams.
Jo De La Rosa It’s kind of a fluke that Slade and Jo even got to be on the show.
They weren’t chosen by producers, but instead won an auction for a spot on the new reality show by bidding 00.
