I’m not judging – I can see how easy it is to get into that situation.
For example, perhaps you just got out of a long-term relationship and you’re not interested in and/or ready to pursue anything serious with someone new at this juncture in your life.

Or is dating a term reserved for only very casual relationships? In my opinion, dating can be a little more casual or more serious.
